At Fair Winds Building Inspection Services, I provide the clients of Wesley Chapel FL the confidence and knowledge needed before making what may be one of their largest purchases. Fair Winds Building Inspection Services is a veteran-owned company. I have over 20 years’ experience with construction, repair, maintenance, and quality control. As a certified and licensed home inspector, customers depend on honesty, courage and commitment. Whether you are a home buyer, seller or maintaining your current home, home inspection gives customers the confidence and understanding of each home.
Home Inspection
I provide a variety of home inspections including buyers’ inspection, a prelisting inspection, insurance inspection and maintenance inspections that all follow the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations. The detailed inspections will provide thorough reviews of the entire interior and exterior of a house from the roof to the foundation including walkways, decks, gutters, drainage, grading of the propert. The interior inspection will cover from the floor to the attic including all rooms, windows, doors and outlets in between! There’s no area that is overlooked! I will also inspect all major appliances, as well as the plumbing system, electrical system, and HVAC system.
The inspection findings will be sent within 24 hours by email to each client. The easy-to-read report will include all of the inspection findings and high quality images for added clarity on any areas of concern. If you have any questions after reviewing the report, I am always here to help.
Pool Inspection
Lounging poolside with friends and family sounds relaxing – if your pool is functioning correctly. A pool inspection will include inspecting the pool barrier, electrical and circulating systems, pool interior and the pool deck. Resurfacing a pool can cost as much as $6, 500 and a brand new basic in-ground pool can cost in the tens of thousands. At these prices, I suggest a pool inspection to have the knowledge you need regarding the property. If there are repairs needed, the pool inspection will provide the information you need to negotiate or budget for repairs.
Wind Mitigation Verification Inspection
In our area, it is vital for the safety of any home to protect against wind damage. A Wind Mitigation inspection will verify the safety of the home by reviewing:
- Opening Protection
- Roof Covering
- Roof Deck Attachment
- Roof Geometry (Roof Shape)
- Roof to Wall Attachment
- Secondary Water Resistance
If the home was built prior to 2002 a wind mitigation inspection is highly suggested. If your wind mitigation inspection is scheduled at the time of your general home inspection you will receive a discount. The inspection will provide home improvement suggestions that can often provide a savings on your home’s insurance premium.
