Home Inspection

A standard home inspection provides peace of mind for home buyers, sellers and those maintaining their current home. I will inspect the entire interior and exterior of the home, from the roof to the foundation and all areas in between. I test all major appliances and all home systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and ventilation. I follow a thorough multipoint checklist for each inspection process that will include:

  • Roof coverings, vents & flashings
  • Skylight, chimney
  • Gutters
  • Drainage and grading
  • Trees & vegetation
  • Deck, porch, driveway
  • Windows & doors
  • Attic ventilation & insulations
  • Interior & exterior windows & doors
  • Garage
  • Electrical switches
  • Main water shut-off
  • & more!

When the inspection is completed, I will provide a thorough report via email within 24 hours. All of the inspection findings include high resolution quality images for added clarification in an easy-to-read report. I am always available to discuss these findings and answer any questions that you may.

Pool Inspection

A pool is a fun addition to any home – as long as it is working properly! If you are considering a property with a pool,  I recommend a pool inspection. Any repairs or resurfacing that are not handled before purchase can cost thousands of dollars! With a thorough inspection,  the clients are confident in their purchases. We will inspect the pool barrier, electrical and circulating systems, pool interior and the pool deck.

Wind Mitigation Inspection

Due to our local weather conditions, wind mitigation inspections are important to determine the safety of a home. If the home was built prior to 2002 a wind mitigation inspection is highly suggested. During the inspections, I will inspect the wind mitigation features of the house and provide suggestions for areas of improvement. With a professional inspection, you can earn discounts on your home insurance premiums. The Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form that is followed during  the inspection includes the following areas: building code, roof covering, roof deck attachment, roof to wall attachment, roof geometry (roof shape), secondary water resistance and opening protection.
